Listasalur Mosfellsbæjar invites you to the solo-exhibition Colorful Nostalgia by Hafmeyja, ongoing from 13th September - 10th October 2025.

Childhood nostalgia is a deeply personal experience, shaped by the era you were born in and the world that surrounded you. In this exhibition, Hafmeyja invites you to step into her vibrant memories of growing up in the 1990s and early 2000s.

In today’s fast-paced world, Colorful Nostalgia reminds us of a time when joy came from simple pleasures—cartoons, friendships, sunshine and unplugged summers. Her artwork invites viewers of all generations to reconnect with the small but powerful moments that once filled their hearts.

Hafmeyja (Catherine Côté), also known as Rainbow Nails, is a painter and nail artist from Montreal, Canada, who has been based in Reykjavík since 2012.
