A bit more about this painting!
The idea for the Lip Dazzle painting came to me as I was reminiscing the days where the Lip Smacker lip balms were the big deal in school! Back then, most of my friends had a few at least! I was not allowed to wear makeup yet, but I was allowed to use lip balms and lip glosses, so I was going all out on these! The packaging was very appealing and some collections even had special glittery labels. Somehow, I was also allowed to also use WHITE eyeliner, thanks mom. To this day I still don’t understand why white eyeliner was such a thing back then haha!
I wanted to create my own name for the product, instead of the actual brand name Lip Smacker, therefore I chose to name it Lip Dazzle.
For the flavor, I imagined a name that when you read it, like ICY BLUEBERRY, you can actually taste the chemical blueberry and a frost burst on your lips! Now that I explained it, can you feel the taste!?
