For this painting, I wanted to create a Pony with a glittery sticker effect! Don’t ask me how many circles i’ve airbrushed to create this effect, I lost the count, but the effect was totally worth the trouble in my opinion!
Ponies played a big part in my upbringing. I never cared for Barbies, for me it was all about Ponies! We had horses and lived in the countryside, that must be why! I collected many ponies, still to this day have many of the ones from my childhood.
I put my own twist on this childhood classic of my generation and painted it with my adult eyes, but still young at heart.
